| The Rochester Black Employees Association, (formerly Concerned
Association of Rochester, Incorporated, or CARI) is a non-profit
organization devoted to the elimination of discrimination in
the corporate environment at Xerox Corporation and to the improvement
of the quality of life in the Rochester area. RBEA does this
by ensuring that black employees are equitably represented at
all levels of management, key operational assignments, critical
programs and projects. RBEA also works to encourage black employees
to recognize and accept their responsibility to reach out and
share their knowledge and successes within the black community.
The organization works on behalf of all exempt and non-exempt
employees that are based in Monroe County.
The organization became an incorporated entity in 1971. RBEA
does not operate as a representative of Xerox Corporation to
the community or in any other matters.
